"Helpful for goal tracking, but not the cleanest setup"
As someone who’s usually the “keep the team organized” person, I really wanted ClickUp to be an easy win for tracking our goals. I do like being able to see progress in one place, and once things are set up, it does the job well. But getting it all organized took longer than I expected, and some updates feel kind of buried. It can get messy and confusing quickly if you’re not careful. Overall, it’s useful, just not as smooth or intuitive as I was hoping...

"Solid desktop app, just a little sluggish here and there"
I use the ClickUp desktop app pretty much every workday for tasks, notes, random reminders, and those tiny little things I know I’ll forget if I don’t write them down immediately. I like having it all in one window instead of bouncing between tabs, and oddly enough I really appreciate small touches like being able to keep a task note right next to the due date instead of hunting for it later.
Most of the time it runs fine, but it does get a bit heavy sometimes, especially when I’m switching between spaces or opening a long list with lots of subtasks. It’s not unusable, just that little pause where you click and wait half a second too long. I’ve also missed a few notifications because they’re not always as noticeable as I’d like, especially if I’m focused on another app.
Overall, I’m happy with it and still use it daily. It’s not perfect, and I do notice the small annoyances, but it genuinely keeps my day more organized than my old system of scattered notes and half-remembered reminders
"I’ve been using this AI helper..."
I’ve been using this AI helper regularly, it’s been a nice time-saver on most days. It helps me get through small tasks faster and makes things feel a little less overwhelming. Overall, I just feel more organized and less stressed when I use it.
"Good tool, but I expected it to be quicker"
ClickUp has been helpful for keeping my work organized, and I do use it a lot. That said, I expected it to respond faster. Some pages take longer to load than I’d like, and it can get a little glitchy here and there. It’s not a bad tool at all, but I’d really like to see it become smoother and more stable

"Pretty decent once I gave it a chance"
I’ll admit, I wasn’t exactly excited to start using clickup, but it ended up being easier than I expected. I didn’t have to sit through a bunch of tutorials just to create a task or set up a list, which was a relief. The layout mostly makes sense, and moving things around is straightforward. There are definitely a lot of features, maybe more than I need, but the basic stuff isn’t hard to figure out. For day-to-day work and keeping track of what needs to get done, it’s actually been useful.

"I mostly use ClickUp because it…"
I mostly use clickup because it fits in nicely with the tools we already rely on, like Slack, Google Drive, and GitHub. The automations have been useful too, especially for moving tasks around or sending updates without me having to do it manually every time. It did take a little setup at the start, but now it quietly saves me a bunch of tedious clicking.

"Super easy to switch plans"
I found it really easy to pause my plan or switch to a different one whenever I needed to. that kind of flexibility makes a big difference, right?

"My Google Calendar syncs with clickup without..."
My Google Calendar syncs with clickup without randomly dropping tasks, which is apparently a luxury these days. So far nothing’s gone missing, and it’s made planning my week way easier. Shocking, I know, software doing the thing it says it does.

"Pretty solid for tracking time"
I mostly use ClickUp to keep track of time on my tasks, and it’s been accurate for me. The timer hasn’t done that annoying thing where it randomly drops time like a few other tools I’ve used. I do forget to stop it sometimes and have to go back and fix it, which is annoying, well, actually that’s kind of my fault, not the app’s. The reports are easy enough to read. I’d give it 4 stars because the time view works, but it can feel a little clunky now and then
"Great first experience getting set up"
I’m still new to ClickUp, and I expected the setup to be a long, confusing process. I tend to look for patterns in how tools are organized before I feel comfortable, so I had a bunch of little questions while figuring out the workspace structure. The onboarding was easy to follow, and support replied quickly, even to the questions that felt kind of silly. They walked me through a few workspace details and helped fix a setup issue without overcomplicating it. I’m definitely still learning, but the support made the whole thing feel a lot less stressful. Really solid first experience

"Good value for the price"
I mean, for the price, it feels like you get a fair deal and there’s a lot included. Just keep in mind some of the upgrades can get expensive quickly.

"and it really keeps our team on the same page"
clickUp has been super helpful for our team. We use it every day for tasks, comments, and quick updates, and it’s made communication a lot easier, especially with people working remotely. I really like having everything in one place instead of digging through random chat threads. It did take a little time to set up, but it’s been worth it.

"Finally have a clear view of all my projects"
Compared to how I used to track everything across messages, spreadsheets, and random check-ins, clickup has been a big improvement. I can actually see my whole project portfolio in one place now, which makes it much easier to tell what’s moving along and what’s getting stuck. I’m not constantly chasing people for updates anymore, and my team seems to appreciate that too.

"Solid permissions, though they can be a little fussy"
We use ClickUp across a few teams, i’m picky about who can see what, so I really appreciate how solid the access controls are. I can make spaces private, share only specific folders, and keep clients limited to the stuff they actually need to see, which has saved us from a lot of awkward “oops, they saw that” moments.
The only reason I’d stick with 4 stars is that permissions can be kind of confusing at first, especially when someone’s access is coming from multiple places. It took me some clicking around and trial and error to fully trust I had it set up right. Once it’s dialed in, though, it works well.

"Makes workload planning so much easier"
Capacity planning used to feel all over the place, but now we can see everyone’s workload really fast, like, really fast. It’s made the whole process way less messy and a lot easier to manage.

"Handy for keeping everything in one place"
ClickUp Docs has been useful for keeping our team notes and files together. It’s nice not having to dig through a bunch of random places to find things, which is always a win. The formatting can feel a little odd sometimes, not a huge deal, just one of those small annoyances, but overall it does the job and keeps everything easy to find.

"Regular updates are a big plus"
ClickUp gets updated often, i think that’s a good sign. It feels like the team is actually paying attention, fixing things, and adding useful features instead of just leaving the product as-is. Every now and then, things move around a little too quickly and I have to figure out where something went, which can be annoying. But overall, I’d rather use a tool that’s actively improving than one that feels stuck. It’s not perfect, but I’m happy with the update pace.

"Billing’s been easy enough, thankfully"
I’ve been using clickup with our small team, and the billing has been clear so far. The prices were what I expected, invoices aren’t hard to find, and I haven’t seen any weird surprise charges. I really don’t have the time or energy to dig through billing issues or chase support over money stuff, so it’s been a relief that this part hasn’t turned into another chore

"I’ve been using this app for my day-to-day..."
I’ve been using this app for my day-to-day stuff, and it’s been helpful. I’m sure there are little features I’m forgetting about, but the main thing I remember is that it keeps me from losing track of tasks and appointments. Simple, useful, and does what I need.

"Search is great when it’s having a good day"
Most of the time, the search gets me to my tasks quickly, which feels like a relief when I’m in a rush. Every now and then it seems to get a little moody and misses some older stuff, but overall it works well enough for my day-to-day.
